Q. How do I become a member of Boot Ranch?
A. When you buy property at Boot Ranch you become a Resident Member, as the cost of membership is included in the real estate purchase. If you buy a share in a Sunday House, you become a Sunday House Member and enjoy membership privileges while in residence at a Sunday House or in a Member Lodge Suite. Q. What is a “multi-generational” membership?
A. All categories of Boot Ranch membership extend privileges to your parents, adult children and their spouses, and grandchildren. Certain limitations to Club access for vertical members and their guests may apply.

Q. Can I play golf at Boot Ranch without being a member?
A. The course and practice facilities are for the exclusive use of members and their guests. Boot Ranch hosts several charity golf tournaments each year that are open to non-members, and you can learn about those through the Golf Shop.

Q. Are there overnight accommodations for non-members?
A. The Lodge Suites and other residential rentals are for the exclusive use of members and their sponsored guests. If you wish to explore property ownership, contact Boot Ranch Realty at (830) 997-6200 for assistance in securing overnight accommodations in conjunction with your property tour.

Q. In addition to golf, what’s there to do at Boot Ranch?
A. Members enjoy many recreational facilities—The Ranch Club features three pools, a jacuzzi, bar & grill, lighted basketball and tennis courts and playground. The Lake Club has a covered pavilion, swim beach, tree houses, jumping platforms,  kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing and the Caddie Shack food trailer. The lighted Putting Park, which is the largest putting green in Texas, is open until 9 pm nightly. Other amenities trap and skeet shooting, walking and biking the two-mile Longhorn Trail between the Ranch Club and Lake Club, and an Activity Field for soccer or just running around. Boot Ranch also offers many scheduled activities—yoga, mahjongg, sports clinics, kids’ camps, walking groups, and social events for all ages.

Q. What about fitness facilities and spa services?
A. Cardio machines and free weights are located in a fitness room in the Clubhouse. A new fitness center at the Ranch Club is scheduled to open in mid 2020 featuring top-tier fitness equipment, wellness programs and a movement studio. The Spa features two beautifully appointed treatment rooms; services are by appointment.

Q. What’s the best way to get to Boot Ranch?
A. Boot Ranch is a half-day drive or less from most cities in Texas, making it an easy gathering place for families who are spread across the state. For private aircraft, Gillespie County Airport is just 10 minutes from Boot Ranch and offers a 5,000-foot runway to accommodate small jets. We’ll even pick you up! For commercial air travel, San Antonio International Airport is about an hour’s drive from Boot Ranch, and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about 90 minutes away.

Q. How many residences will there be at Boot Ranch?
A. Boot Ranch is planned for about 450 residential units on more than 2,080 acres. Residential offerings include estate homesites that range from one-half to more than 14 acres, completed single-family homes, cabins and condominium residences, and Sunday Houses whose ownership and use is shared by eight families per house. About forty percent of the community remains to be developed and sold.
