A Letter From Boot Ranch General Manager, Emil Hale
With coronavirus causing tremendous impact across all aspects of daily life, these are truly unprecedented times. All of us are deeply concerned about the health of our families and friends, and the resiliency of our economy.
On behalf of Boot Ranch, I want to let you know how the Club is responding to the situation. Our goal is to continue normal Club operations, providing our members with much-needed relaxation, recreation and socialization. Many members have canceled plans for spring-break air travel, and we hope that Boot Ranch can be a welcome alternative for you.
The Club has introduced rigorous additional cleaning procedures, and our team members are well-trained in best practices to minimize the possibility of transmitting illness.
I know we can count on you to help keep the Club a safe haven by observing the following responsible practices:
- If you or immediate family members have recently traveled outside the U.S., or have suffered from a cold or flu-like symptoms, please observe a 14-day hiatus before visiting the Club.
- While on property, take advantage of the many hand sanitizer stations and/or thoroughly wash hands with soap for 20 seconds when entering and leaving Club facilities.
- Please feel free to order carry out meals from the Club that can be ready for curbside pickup.
If you use any fitness, golf or other recreational equipment, please wipe it down with disinfectant before and after use or ask a team member and they will handle it for you.
The Boot Ranch leadership team is closely monitoring COVID-19 advisories and taking guidance from government and health authorities so that we may serve you safely and with confidence. We have the benefit of a wonderful, low-density rural location with plenty of room to spread out and many ways to stay active enjoying the Club.
So that we may continue to serve you safely and with confidence, we will be taking additional measures of caution throughout our facilities. Our team members have been trained on all the best practices for clean and safe usage of Club amenities. We are adapting where possible, and in some cases postponing or canceling events scheduled over the next six weeks.
The following is the current Club Operating Plan detailing specific actions that are being taken:
CLUBHOUSE AND MEN’S GRILL DINING:
Reservations for lunch and dinner must be made to ensure adequate seating is available, as seating has been reduced to promote social distancing. Please call (830) 990-7634 for reservations.
The Club is encouraging call-in orders for curbside pickup any time during regular hours. Please call (830) 990-7634 to place orders. Menus are posted on www.BootRanchClub.com and on the Boot Ranch Club mobile app.
Thursday night themed dinners will continue but as plated meals rather than buffets. Call (830) 990-7634 for reservations.
Easter Brunch (Sunday, April 12th) will be offered only for curbside pickup or delivery within Boot Ranch. The menu will be sent in a separate email with an order form. Orders must be placed by 2 pm on Wednesday, April 8th. The cost is $34 for adults and $14 for children 12 and under. The Clubhouse will be closed on Easter Sunday.
The Ranch Club pools are open. According to the CDC’s website, there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs properly operated, maintained, and disinfected (e.g. chlorine and bromine).
The furniture around the pool and in the Pavilion will be sprayed with disinfectant after each use. Towels will be used on all poolside furniture and will be promptly laundered after use.
Food and beverage service will be available at the Ranch Club Grill for outdoor dining in the Pavilion or for curbside pickup. Call (830) 990-7664 to place orders.
Trek Bikes are available for you to ride on the Longhorn Trail or around the community. Ranch Club staff will wipe with disinfectant before and after use.
The Lake Club and Caddie Shack are open, and furniture at the beach and under the pavilion will be disinfected after each use.
The course, comfort stations, practice facilities, and Putting Park are open for personal use. We encourage one person per cart except where the players are immediate family members. Carts will be cleaned and sanitized before and after each use.
Thursday Scrambles, Par-Tee Girls, and Thursday Ladies’ Clinics are still on the schedule. Single-player cart use is encouraged, along with appropriate social distancing.

Instead of handshakes and hugs, it’s time for elbow bumps and smiles. Our members are the heart of Boot Ranch, and we look forward to welcoming and serving you in any way we can.
Please take care of yourselves and each other.
Emil Hale, PGA
P.S. We will continue to monitor this situation and advise you of any changes to scheduled programs or events.
