longhorn lake

Beautiful Longhorn Lakes is our newest destination for summer recreation, where members can enjoy Texas nature, scenery and good old-fashioned fun.

img16
Trails
The fastest and most fun route to the lake is Longhorn Trail, which starts at the Ranch Club, where you can borrow a state-of-the-art Trek bike. This 10-foot wide trail is made of Stalock, a natural surface that is friendly for feet,
strollers, and golf carts too.
the landing
The Landing is a big covered deck with fireplace that’s home-base for lakeside recreation and outdoor gatherings. Hop aboard a kayak, paddleboard or canoe, jump in the lake or just relax in the shade with a good book.
the treehouses
Enormous treehouses are perched in two grandfather oaks, connected with a swinging bridge. Make a fast exit via slide or fire pole. Adults allowed, too.
jumping platforms
You can hop aboard the raft and pull yourself to the far shore, just like Huck Finn, then climb the limestone boulders and make a big splash.

The Lake House
There’s more in the works for Longhorn Lake. We’re designing a lakeside center for casual gatherings and family activities, including an amphitheater, music & movie hall as well as a beach and much more.
sporting clays
Our trap and skeet range is open year round for individual instruction and group events. This historic range has been updated with all new remote controlled equipment, including voice activated throwers.

Fishing
Drop a line into our stocked, spring-fed lakes and pull out a big one. The pier at Hole #10 is outfitted with fishing tackle for member use, or bring your favorite rod and reel.
